Rams running back Kyren Williams was brutally mocked by a 49ers rival after his crucial fumble on Thursday night.

With LA down 23-20 with just over a minute remaining in the contest, Williams fumbled near the goal line before San Francisco recovered.

The Rams were ultimately able to force overtime but still lost the contest 26-23.

And after the running back's crucial mistake, 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir took a shot at Williams on social media.

'He's got a fat mouth. He shouldn't have been talking. He pointed at me when he scored,' Lenoir said on an Instagram live stream.

Williams taunted the 49ers defense in the second quarter when he high-stepped into the endzone as he scored on a 14-yard reception.

Williams said last year that the Rams were the 'big brothers' of the 49ers after sweeping them

And video of the play also shows that Williams did in fact point in Lenoir's direction, as the defensive back said afterwards.

The comments from Lenoir come after Williams issued some fighting words last year, following the Rams' second win of the season over their California rivals.

'We're the big brothers now,' Williams said in December 2024.

Nonetheless, a banged-up San Francisco squad got the last laugh on Thursday as Eddy Pineiro hit a game-winning 41-yard field goal in overtime.

Mac Jones thrived in relief of the injured Brock Purdy, tossing 342 yards and two touchdowns, while his former Patriots teammate Kendrick Bourne tallied 142 receiving yards.

San Francisco were missing top receiving targets George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings for the contest.

Williams, meanwhile, gained 131 scrimmage yards for the Rams in the loss.

He'll have an opportunity for payback when the Rams travel to San Francisco on November 9.
