The Baltimore Ravens have been rocked by yet another injury crisis amid a disappointing start to the season.

The struggling Ravens, who are 1-3 so far this season, suffered their sixth injury blow when it was confirmed that quarterback Lamar Jackson will miss this weekend's clash against the Houston Texans

The starting signal caller strained his hamstring during last Sunday's defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jackson hasn't trained all week and, despite head coach John Harbaugh remaining tight-lipped on his status, the quarterback was officially ruled out of this Sunday's game on the Ravens' injury report.

In a testy exchange with reporters on Thursday, Harbaugh refused to even confirm if Jackson was 'day to day.'

'How about I just don't say anything? That's what I would do. Why don't we just leave it alone?' Harbaugh said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

The Ravens have suffered a disappointing 1-3 to start the season amid a string of injuries

Sunday's game against the Texans will mark the first time since the end of the 2022 season that the two-time MVP will miss a game through injury.

Former Dallas Cowboys backup Cooper Rush is expected to step in under center in a bid to avoid only the franchise's second 1-4 start to a season.

However, Jackson isn't the only star sidelined for the Ravens, who had been considered Super Bowl contenders before the season started.

Baltimore will also be without five other players, including linebacker Roquan Smith, cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (calf) and Chidobe Awuzie (hamstring), tackle Emery Jones Jr. and and fullback Patrick Ricard.

Safety Kyle Hamilton was also among those who didn't practice on Friday and was listed as questionable to play on Friday's injury report.

Linebacker Odafe Oweh (eye), tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) and receiver Devontez Walker are also questionable.
