England's T20 and one-day international cricket captain Harry Brook has announced that he's engaged to his long-term girlfriend.
The Yorkshireman, currently ranked the world's second best Test Match batsman, and his partner Lucy Lyles revealed the heart-warming news with an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Sharing a selfie of himself and the bride-to-be showing off her glitzy new engagement ring to social media, the cricketer simply captioned the post with a ring emoji.
The couple are thought to have been together for around five years after she first appeared on his Instagram back in 2020.
Lyles, a graduate from the University of Manchester, has regularly been spotted in the stands cheering on Brook at various venues across the globe.
When he scored his maiden Indian Premier League century back in 2023 - an incredible 100 not out in just 55 balls - he said afterwards: 'My girlfriend is here but the rest of my family have just left.

But before he ties the knot with his new fiancee, Brook has an Ashes series on the horizon.
Brendon McCullum and his England side will be looking to win the earn Down Under for the first since 2011 when the series begins in Perth on November 21.
Despite England heading into the clash as the third-ranked Test Match side in the world, behind South Africa in second and the Aussies in first, there's a genuine optimism amongst fans that the Three Lions could return to Britain as victors.
And Brook, who is of course already his country's skipper in the shorter formats, has been appointed as England's vice-captain ahead of the trip.
He replaces Ollie Pope in the role, with many speculating that such a call could lead to the Surrey no 3 batsman being dropped.
However England managing director Rob Key confirmed that's not the case in a press conference last week, saying: 'There are no other ulterior motives other than the fact that we think Harry (Brook) is the best person to be the best vice-captain.
But before the wedding, Brook will travel Down Under to compete in this winter's Ashes series

'There is not an elaborate scheme where if we take the vice-captaincy off Ollie Pope it makes him easier to drop.
'It doesn't matter if you are vice-captain or not. if we don't feel you are the right person wherever you are batting - whether that's an opener or at number five - we'll end up bringing in someone we think can do the job better.
'We'll see a bit more of Jacob Bethell in white-ball cricket. I think we know a fair amount about Ollie Pope but Jacob will continue to get experience. We'll just learn more and more the more Jacob plays.'
Before the Test Match series begins, England travel to nearby New Zealand for three T20s and three ODIs.
