A former college quarterback who played at Notre Dame, Boston College and Pittsburgh is under arrest in Pennsylvania for allegedly stealing a box truck from a hospital parking lot.
According to online records, Phil Jurkovec is facing charges of unlawful taking and receiving stolen property – both third-degree felonies in Pennsylvania. He is accused of taking a box truck from Allegheny Health Network's Wexford Hospital, according to court paperwork reviewed by CBS Pittsburgh.
The alleged victim told officers he was loading tables and chairs from a recent function into the back of his rental company’s truck when the vehicle was suddenly stolen.
Authorities say the truck was tracked to nearby Cranberry Township using GPS. Officers say they discovered Jurkovec driving the stolen vehicle.
He was arrested and remains behind bars in the Allegheny County Jail after he was unable to post bail set at $25,000, according to online records.
An attorney representing Jurkovec did not immediately respond to The Daily Mail’s request for comment.

From there he spent three seasons at Boston College, playing in 24 games, before finishing his career at Pitt in 2023.
For his college career, the 6ft 5in quarterback completed 58.5 percent of his passes for 6,224 yards, 43 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.
He would go unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft.
