Sports fans are closely following the career of Nebraska track and field star Meghan Walker after she moved a step closer to becoming a superstar WWE wrestler.
The 21-year-old runs track and field for the Cornhuskers and had earned herself a spot on WWE's NIL (Next In Line) program earlier this year.
Now, though, North Platte Post is reporting she has signed a full-time developmental contract with WWE, moving into the Performance Center/NXT system.
The glamorous college star, who is also a social media sensation with nearly 150,000 followers on Instagram, regularly gives her fans a glimpse into her life on and off the track at Nebraska.
But it appears there will now be a change of scenery, with the report claiming she is set to move full-time to Orlando to work out of the WWE's Performance Center.
At Nebraska, Walker competed in the 200m and 400m, as well as the relay teams, and was a two-time state champion in high school.

She was previously on the NIL (Next In Line) program but is now moving to the NXT system
She grew up in Brandon, South Dakota, before moving to Nebraska for college where her star has continued to rise.
The move is just the latest bold play by WWE as it signs up a series of big college names for its next generation under the stewardship of Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque.
Barstool reports that fellow WWE icon Shawn Michaels also had a hand in the recruitment of Walker, in his role as 'Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative'.
While Walker is a big name in the track and field scene at Nebraska, it is arguably her glamorous social media posts that have gained her the most fame.
At Halloween, she stunned fans with her leather bunny outfit and now has 150,000 followers

The 21-year-old regularly posts photos and videos from her day-to-day life, recently sharing multiple photos of a raunchy Halloween outfit in which she dressed up as a bunny in a red leather suit.
She also posted some bikini snaps from Orlando in October, while visiting the WWE Performance Center - around the time she is expected to have signed her contract.
WWE, meanwhile is also reported to have signed up two others to its developmental program, the first being Russian gymnast and pole dancer Jessica Bognadov.
The other is ex-Boise State running back Cyrus Habibi-Likio.
