Collingwood legend Peter Daicos reportedly stormed out of the club's best and fairest awards night last weekend after a joke was made about his superstar son Nick.
Peter Daicos is a Collingwood champion who played 250 games for the Magpies from 1979 to 1993 and won the 1990 premiership.
His sons Nick and Josh Daicos now play for the club, with Nick regarded as one of the best players in the league.
However, the talented midfielder has missed out on the game's biggest prizes in recent years.
The Magpies finished runner-up to the Brisbane Lions in 2024 and Daicos has missed out on the Brownlow Medal in both 2024 and 2025.
Considered a certainty to take home the Copeland Trophy, Daicos again missed out - with Darcy Cameron taking home the top award for the first time.

Daicos senior allegedly took exception to a joke coach Craig McRae made about his son Nick
While Nick Daicos is undoubtedly one of the best players in the AFL, he has had rotten luck at awards nights
Magpies coach Craig McRae took the opportunity to make a light-hearted crack on stage about Nick missing out on the Brownlow to Gold Coast Suns star Matt Rowell.
But it went down like a lead balloon with Daicos senior, with Channel 9 journalist Tom Morris reporting that he stormed out of the event after the joke.
'I was really interested being at the Collingwood best and fairest listening to Craig McRae's speech. I thought by and large he spoke well,' Morris said on SEN.
'Collingwood know how to do a best and fairest, it was great to get the invite.
'Craig McRae had a little jab at some of the Brownlow votes.
'He came runner-up in the Brownlow Medal again. Maybe a few more 16-disposal games might get you there next year.
'That's cheeky Fly coming out.'
Morris said that Daicos senior might have been given the early word that his son was going to miss out again, which could have contributed to his early exit.
'It got an interesting reaction,' Morris added.
'I've been trying to catch Peter Daicos all weekend. He was in the room at the time.
'I tried to call him Saturday, I tried to call him Sunday, I've texted him this morning. No response, which is fine, that's totally up to him.
'But he stormed out at about that time. He took his tie off and he left the function. It was earlier on in the night (not when Nick was announced to have come second in the best and fairest).
'Was it that comment? Was it something else that happened? Did he find out that Nick Daicos wasn't going to win? Or was he not feeling well? I don't know.
'But he stormed out. He took his tie off and he went home.'
