Fox Sports have made their decision on Mark Sanchez's replacement for Sunday after the former NFL quarterback was stabbed and later arrested in Indianapolis.
Sanchez, 38, had traveled the Midwest city to call Sunday's Colts-Raiders game for Fox Sports, but was hospitalized after allegedly being stabbed early Saturday morning during a dispute with a food delivery driver.
However, it was alleged that the driver, who is said to be 69 years old, stabbed Sanchez in self-defense. And the former passer was ultimately arrested for battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication, Indianapolis cops announced.
According to Front Office Sports, Sanchez will be replaced in the booth by another ex-quarterback, former Notre Dame star Brady Quinn.
Quinn's play-by-play partner for the game will be Chris Myers.
Following the dispute with Sanchez, the delivery driver was allegedly hospitalized as well with 'significant injuries', FOX59/CBS4 reported.

FOX59 anchor Angela Ganote also reported - citing a police report - that the alleged victim informed cops that he was delivering food when the Fox Sports commentator told him he needed to move his vehicle and couldn't park where he was.
Sanchez is accused of threatening, following and attacking the man, who tried to pepper spray him unsuccessfully. The man claimed he at that point defended himself with a knife.
After the news of Sanchez being stabbed broke, Fox Sports PR asaid Saturday in a statement: 'Mark Sanchez was injured in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in stable condition. We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support.
'Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family's privacy during this time.'
The network later declined further comment to the Daily Mail after it emerged that Sanchez had been arrested in the hospital.

In announcing Sanchez's arrest on Saturday afternoon, Indianapolis cops said that Sanchez was still in the hospital and had not yet been booked into jail.
In response to the events, Chief Chris Bailey of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department also wrote on X: 'Proud of our IMPD officers and detectives who stayed focused on our mission and not the noise.
'Their professionalism represents the best of our department. IMPD will continue to be a steady, reliable presence in our city because our community deserves nothing less.'
Sanchez, who last played in the NFL in 2018, has been with Fox as a game analyst since 2021.
He also launched a new digital show called 'Rearview' with the network last month.
Sanchez is married to American actress Perry Mattfeld, and the couple have two children together after Perry gave birth to twins in March.
Sanchez also has an eight-year-old son, Daniel, from one of his previous relationships.
The former passer is best known for his time with the Jets, though his 10-year career also brought him to the Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins and Bears.
