A-List actor Rob Lowe has plenty of people from his home state of Ohio upset as he was seen supporting the Los Angeles Dodgers during Tuesday night's MLB playoff game against the Cincinnati Reds

Lowe was seen during the broadcast after Tommy Edman's home run wearing a Dodgers' championship cap from their World Series victory last year.

While Lowe moved to California after growing up in Dayton, Ohio, his allegiances to the Reds had never been questioned, even if the Hollywood star had shown love to the nearby Dodgers in the past.

Now with the teams facing in the Wild Card round, Lowe choosing the Dodgers over the Reds has led some on social media to be furious with the Brat Pack star.

'Surprised it wasn’t an MLB hat. He clearly sold out to LA,' one person said.

'Typical fake celebrity. I’ll like whatever team gives me the most attention,' a second added.

Ohio native and famous factor Rob Lowe has sparked fury for his support of the Dodgers

Los Angeles defeated the Cincinnati Reds last night, with Lowe slighting his hometown team

In a July 2015 interview with MLB.com, Lowe admitted his lifelong fandom of the Reds. That pride went as far as to make a homemade Joe Morgan jersey, with the 'St. Elmo's Fire' actor saying he 'wore that thing everywhere.'

Lowe has been a fixture at Dodgers games for the last 15 years, and has previously said how much he admires the team's biggest star, Shohei Ohtani.

Seeing Lowe in Dodger blue may have only added insult to injury for Cincinnati, which fell to Los Angeles 10-5 and is now on the brink of playoff elimination.

Ohtani hit two home runs off Hunter Greene, including with the first at-bat of the postseason contest.

Game 2 of the playoff tilt is scheduled for Wednesday night at Dodgers Stadium, with Los Angeles having two chances to advance to the Divisional round in hopes of retaining their championship.

Lowe may be in the California crowd again, watching his new team possibly end the best season the Reds have had in over a decade.

Should the Reds win two consecutive games in Los Angeles, it would be their first playoff series victory since 1995, when Barry Larkin was MLB MVP.
