TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto once again reshuffled his cabinet on Monday, September 14, 2026, replacing Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa with Deputy Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara.

Prabowo's decision marks the sixth cabinet reshuffle thus far. Since his inauguration on October 20, 2024, Prabowo has repeatedly changed the positions of several ministers and state officials.

Aside from being replaced, several top officials in Prabowo's cabinet were stripped of their posts due to institutional restructuring. For example, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) no longer exists within the cabinet after it transformed into the SOEs Regulatory Body. Furthermore, the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) also transformed into the Government Communication Agency.

First Reshuffle (February 2025)

Prabowo first reshuffled the cabinet on February 19, 2025, about four months after assuming office. At that time, Prabowo replaced the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology who had been in office for only a few months.
