TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Secretary of the Cabinet, Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya, received a visit from the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto, in the early hours of Saturday, June 20, 2026.
The meeting took place at Teddy's office at the Cabinet Secretariat Building, Jakarta. During the meeting, Suyudi coordinated various efforts to prevent and eradicate drug abuse and trafficking, especially in large urban areas.
The meeting between Teddy and Suyudi was posted on the Instagram account @sekretariat.kabinet. The caption mentioned that Suyudi also conveyed various achievements of the BNN in the prevention and eradication of narcotics. "Including the successful uncovering of narcotics trafficking networks and the seizure of various types of narcotics before they circulated in society," as written on the Cabinet Secretariat's account.
One of BNN's main focuses is the danger of electronic cigarettes or vaping. "Which can be used as a medium for the use of harmful substances, and the importance of education for the public, especially the younger generation," said the Cabinet Secretariat.
The government claims it will continue to strengthen inter-agency synergy in the prevention and eradication of narcotics, as well as increasing public education. This step is expected to protect the public, especially the younger generation, from the threat of drug abuse and at the same time realize a drug-free Indonesia.
