Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle has offered a 'sincere apology' to Lewis Capaldi after accidentally snubbing the singer during the grid walk at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Brundle, who has become famed for his pre-race grid walks, hosted a chaotic interview with the singer and his brother Anthony on Sunday.
The interview began with Brundle approaching Capaldi's brother and mistakenly identifying him as the 'Someone You Loved' singer, before Lewis appeared to speak to the presenter.
His quickfire interview concluded in similar fashion, as Capaldi went to shake Brundle's hand.
Brundle, who was unaware, turned away to continue the grid walk to leave Capaldi with his hand outstretched.
Reacting to the accidental snub, Capaldi joked 'I'll hold that' and preceded to shake his own hand before bursting into laughter as he walked away with his brother.

Fans had praised Capaldi's response to the accidental snub, while labelling it another classic grid walk moment involving Brundle.
The interview had started with Brundle approaching a man he believed to be Capaldi and stating 'Lewis, wonderful to see you'.
'I'm his brother,' said the man, who was wearing a cap, in response to Brundle.
Brundle replied 'I'm sorry, you're his brother' and laughed in recognition of his error, as the real Lewis Capaldi appeared in the background and came to the rescue.

'He's here supporting McLaren,' he responded while pointing to his brother, acknowledging he is the bigger F1 fan out of the two of them.
It prompted Brundle to ask 'So he's the musician and you are the driver' to his brother, who responded 'I'm just a guy who's here, that's all', prompting more laughter.
Brundle rounded off the interview by saying 'Well, I'm sorry that I mistaken you, but it's lovely to see you on the grid.'
