Furious NFL fans have called out Troy Aikman for supposed 'anti-Chiefs' bias.
Aikman was on duty for Monday Night Football's showdown between Kansas City and Jacksonville Jaguars - which the latter won 31-28 after a dramatic ending.
However, during the broadcast, Aikman came under criticism after fans suggested that he was showing major bias against the defending AFC champions.
Fans voiced their frustrations on X, with one writing: 'Does some committee pay Troy Aikman to push 'the refs help the Chiefs' conspiracy theories? Because dude is OBSESSED'.
Another wrote: 'Joe Buck & Troy Aikman can't stand the Chiefs success. They talk them down every time they have the call'.
'I'm not a 'the announcers hate my team' guy, but my goodness, Buck and Aikman need to see a therapist when it comes to talking about the Chiefs', one said.
The Kansas City Chiefs fell to a 31-28 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night
Afterwards, fans claimed that ESPN announcer Troy Aikman was bias against the Chiefs
Another claimed: 'No announcers in professional sports hate a city as much as Joe Buck and Troy Aikman hate kc'.
Elsewhere on the night, Patrick Mahomes threw a disastrous pick-six as the Jacksonville Jaguars condemned the Chiefs to their third defeat of the season.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence enjoyed a night to savor at EverBank Stadium, completing 18 of his 25 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns - including a sensational game-winner at the death.
Mahomes, meanwhile, completed 29 of his 41 passes for 318 yards, a touchdown and, disastrously, a 99-yard pick six.
Late in the third quarter of Monday's game, the Chiefs quarterback tried to find JuJu Smith-Schuster in the end zone on a 2nd-and-goal, only for Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd to pick him off at Jacksonville's two-yard line.
Lloyd then brushed off Travis Kelce and dodged out the way of a flying Mahomes as he desperately tried to stop him, before getting past Kareem Hunt and running almost 100 yards for a breathtaking touchdown.
Fans were quick to voice their frustrations with Aikman on social media after the game
The three-time Super Bowl winner was left visibly dejected after his rare error, which helped the hosts move 21-14 in front before the fourth quarter. It was only the sixth pick six he has thrown over the course of his stellar eight-year NFL career.
And in the end the interception return proved costly for his team, who were beaten 31-28 after an insane late touchdown by opposite number Lawrence.
The latter tripped, got up and scrambled for a one-yard touchdown with 23 seconds remaining - turning a laughable miscue into an improbable score which earned his team victory.
The crazy ending halted the Jags' eight-game losing streak to the Chiefs (2-3).
