TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto is set to convene a full cabinet meeting at the Jakarta Presidential Palace on Friday, March 13, 2026. All members of the Red and White Cabinet, including ministers, deputy ministers, heads of agencies, and the president's special advisors, are invited to attend.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the cabinet meeting would discuss the government's readiness for Eid al-Fitr. "Today, there will be a cabinet meeting regarding the preparation for Eid," Teddy said in his statement on Friday.
Teddy mentioned that the agenda would commence around 4:00 p.m. Before the cabinet meeting begins, President Prabowo is scheduled to personally pay zakat through the National Zakat Agency (Baznas).
Several members of the Red and White Cabinet will also pay their zakat alongside Prabowo. "It will start with the payment of zakat alms and zakat al-Fitr by cabinet members to the National Zakat Agency at the State Palace," Teddy stated.
Prabowo has held at least one full cabinet meeting this year. Prior to today, the President last invited all members of the Red and White Cabinet for a full meeting on January 6, 2026. The meeting took place at Prabowo's private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, under the theme of a retreat.
During that meeting, Prabowo reprimanded the cabinet members. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi conveyed the reprimand during the closed session of the retreat and the evaluation meeting of the Red and White Cabinet.
This information was disclosed by State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi during the retreat's break. "The President's reprimand was intended to boost morale," Prasetyo said when speaking to journalists during the retreat break on January 6, 2026.
Prasetyo stated that the reprimand was delivered by the President because he wanted his cabinet members to work even faster. However, Prasetyo did not disclose which ministers were reprimanded by Prabowo.
Prior to conducting the closed cabinet evaluation meeting in January, Prabowo had provided an open lecture. In his address, Prabowo discussed various achievements and challenges of the government across various programs, including free nutritious meals and rice self-sufficiency.
Prabowo commenced his address by outlining the meeting's agenda. One of the main topics, he said, was the performance evaluation of the previous year.
