It was another thrilling weekend of Premier League football and - most importantly - at the end of the 10 fixtures, we had a new Premier League leader.

EXPERT PREDICTIONS

Daily Mail Sport's Tom Collomosse predicted seven correct results

Bournemouth vs Fulham - HOME WIN - 1pt

Leeds vs Tottenham - DRAW - 0pts

Arsenal vs West Ham - HOME WIN - 1pt

Man United vs Sunderland - HOME WIN - 1pt

Chelsea vs Liverpool - DRAW - 0pts

Aston Villa vs Burnley - HOME WIN - 1pt

Everton vs Crystal Palace - DRAW - 0pts

Newcastle vs Forest - HOME WIN - 1pt

Wolves vs Brighton - DRAW - 1pt

Brentford vs Man City - AWAY WIN - 1pt

Indeed as Liverpool once again slumped to defeat, Arsenal took advantage of their slip up, beating Nuno Espirito Santo's West Ham United 2-0 at The Emirates thanks to goals from the ever-dependable Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice.

Meanwhile in Saturday's only other 3pm kick-off around 200 miles north of London, Ruben Amorim eased the pressure mounting on him with a commanding 2-0 defeat of Sunderland. A blip in the Black Cats' bright start to the campaign.

It was Liverpool's turn later on in what was probably the most thrilling clash of the weekend. A disappointing week for Arne Slot however went from bad to worse as his side were beaten 2-1 by a late goal from young Estevao, prompting a wild Jose Mourinho-esque run up the touchline from Enzo Maresca

Sunday's 2pm kicks offs saw Jack Grealish end Crystal Palace's unbeaten run with a late goal to earn Everton a 2-1 win, Wolves concede late to continue their winless start to the campaign and Ange Postecoglou suffer another loss, this time at the hands of Newcastle United. Aston Villa also picked up three points against Burnley before Man City closed out the weekend with a 1-0 win over Brentford

Incredibly, 10 predictor players got every single result absolutely correct. Those who were bang on include MisterMacHull, SkyCatTwist, Mugssy, Missdaisy52 and the Hustler.

Daily Mail Sport's Tom Collomosse also had a successful week, predicting seven of the 10 fixtures correctly. Those he failed to predict were Leeds against Spurs, Chelsea versus Liverpool and Everton's clash with the Eagles.

As for the overall standings after gameweek seven, AzaleaFlyMum sits top, MaizeCitruSea second and Tobsy118 third.
