The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has installed a total of 76 Starlink units in the flood and landslide-affected areas of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra as of Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Polri's Public Relations Division Head Inspector General Sandi Nugroho stated that the satellite internet network has become the mainstay for residents who have been deprived of signal and communication access for days.
