Patrick Mahomes has been accused of 'b****ing' and 'bullying' referees into giving the Chiefs a controversial touchdown against the Jaguars.
Early on in the game in Jacksonville, which Kansas City lost 31-28, the quarterback threw a short pass to Travis Kelce for the opening score of the night.
It initially appeared that JuJu Smith-Schuster would be called for pass interference after he collided with the defender tasked with covering Kelce.
A flag was thrown but after protests from Chiefs players - including Mahomes - the touchdown was awarded. That is despite ESPN's rules analyst arguing the Chiefs should be penalized.
The 'disgusting' outcome sparked fury among many NFL fans on social media, with Skip Bayless among those to accuse the refs of bowing to Mahomes.
The former Fox Sports star claimed the quarterback 'talked the refs into wrongly picking up a flag' and many others went further, accusing Mahomes of 'b****ing' and 'whining'.

'The Chiefs get called for offensive pass interference, Pat Mahomes whines, and the refs take it off,' one fan wrote on social media. 'Of course the Chiefs get the call.'
A second wrote: 'It really is disgusting the calls the Chiefs get. Mahomes b*****s and whines and these frauds capitulate.'
A third posted an edited picture of an NFL official in Chiefs colors and wrote alongside the image: 'I just watched Mahomes bully the ref into picking up the flag.'
The Chiefs have been at the center of baseless conspiracy theories for several years, with many fans claiming they get favorable treatment from referees.
'Mahomes is so unlikeable as a player,' another fan wrote. 'Bro literally just walks up to those refs on a call he doesn't like and always gets the benefit of doubt... this is why 99% of the country can't stand the Chiefs.'
There was more outrage later in Monday night's game, after Kansas City secured a crucial interception in the fourth quarter.
With the Chiefs trailing by seven points, Trevor Lawrence's pass was caught by Trent McDuffie after intended receiver Parker Washington collided with Jaden Hicks.
'CHIEFS BENEFIT FROM ANOTHER OUTRAGEOUS NONCALL ON THAT GAME-TURNING INTERCEPTION,' Bayless fumed. 'REFS LIVE [sic] MAHOMES AND HIS COACH.'
In the end, however, neither controversial call cost the Jaguars, who moved to 4-1 while the Chiefs fell to 2-3.
