Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources spokesperson Dwi Anggia emphasized that the government has no such plan and confirmed that the narrative on social media is false. "That (information) is not true," Dwi said when contacted by Tempo on Friday, June 12, 2026.
How Disinformation Spreads

The world's power grid is not integrated into a single system that can be shut down simultaneously, but rather is managed independently by each country or region. A global disruption of this magnitude could only be triggered by an extraordinary cosmic phenomenon, not a coordinated action concealed by scientists or governments.
