TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office respects the decision of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Criminal Acts (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah to resign from his position. Head of the Attorney General's Office Legal Information Center Anang Supriatna said Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin or ST Burhanuddin received the resignation on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
"The Attorney General's Office respects the decision and ensures that all duties, functions, and handling of cases in the Deputy Attorney General for Special Criminal Acts' office continue to run normally according to applicable mechanisms," Anang said in a written statement on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Febrie resigned when the Indonesian National Police's Corruption Eradication Task Force (Kortastipidkor Polri) was investigating several cases of alleged corruption, money laundering, and bribery. According to Anang, the decision reflects a commitment to maintaining the integrity, objectivity, and neutrality of the law enforcement process, in line with the legal process being handled by Indonesian National Police investigators.
The 7th President Joko Widodo appointed ST Burhanuddin as Attorney General in 2019. Burhanuddin then inaugurated Febrie Adriansyah as the Deputy Attorney General for Special Criminal Acts in January 2022, as he entered the third year of his term. Before retiring in 2014, Burhanuddin held the position of Deputy Attorney General for Civil and State Administrative Affairs (Jamdatun).
Attorney General ST Burhanuddin's Wealth
ST Burhanuddin is the 25th Attorney General to lead the Attorney General's Office since 2019, replacing HM Prasetyo. He is also the younger brother of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) politician, TB Hasanuddin, who once served as the Head of the Politic Department of the Central Leadership Council of PDI Perjuangan.
According to the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) State Official Wealth Report (LHKPN), the total wealth of ST Burhanuddin in 2024 reached Rp11,840,701,499. This amount increased from the 2023 record of Rp10,846,873,436.
The assets consist of land and buildings worth Rp5,325,000,000. The details include land and buildings covering an area of 240 square meters / 140 square meters in West Bandung Regency worth Rp2,500,000,000, and land and buildings covering an area of 120 square meters / 109 square meters in South Tangerang worth Rp2,825,000,000.
The University of Indonesia's Master of Management graduate in 2001 also reported ownership of transportation and machinery in the form of a 2002 Toyota Celica Minibus worth Rp44,286,750.
Additionally, ST Burhanuddin owns other movable assets worth Rp350,272,033, as well as cash and cash equivalents amounting to Rp6,121,142,716. In his last LHKPN report, he was not recorded as having any debt.
