TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A lineup of top MotoGP racers participated in the Tabola Bale dance after a parade through Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on Wednesday evening, October 1, 2025.
Thousands of fans crowded the main stage at Teras Udayana in Mataram to watch the racers awkwardly, but enthusiastically, dance alongside a group of child performers.
The catchy, viral song successfully encouraged the entire audience to groove along to the music.
The participating racers included Francesco Bagnaia, Marco Bezzecchi, Luca Marini, Brad Binder, Miguel Oliveira, Raul Fernandez, Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Somkiat Chantra, and Indonesian Moto2 racer Mario Aji.
Tabola Bale is a musical fusion crafted by musician Silet Open Up in partnership with rapper Jacson Zeran, Juan Reza, and Diva Aurel. The composition blends Eastern and Minang musical styles, resulting in a melody that resonates widely with the public.
When interviewed individually, several MotoGP racers conveyed their excitement and appreciation, commending the fervor and graciousness displayed by Indonesian fans, especially the residents of Mataram City.
Aprilia's racer, Marco Bezzecchi, specifically lauded the local residents' spirit, particularly those from Lombok. This was demonstrated by the cordial reception extended to the MotoGP competitors participating in the parade. "They are warm and friendly," Bezzecchi remarked.
Ducati Lenovo's racer, Francesco Bagnaia, addressed the fans and expressed his gratitude in the Indonesian language for the community's welcome. Immediately, Bagnaia's expression was met with enthusiastic acclaim from the thousands of supporters filling Teras Udayana. "Thank you," he said.
The parade was part of the lead-up to the MotoGP Mandalika 2025 event, which is set to take place at the Mandalika Circuit on October 3-5.
