TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto awarded honors to dozens of Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) soldiers and units from the deck of the KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 warship during the Presidential Inspection in Teluk Jakarta on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
Prabowo bestowed the Bintang Yudha Dharma Pratama and the Samkaryanugraha on 18 officers and military units.
The Bintang Yudha Dharma Pratama is the highest honor granted by the government to recognize an individual's dedicated service that has significantly benefited the nation and state.
Prabowo noted that all senior officers who received this award had proven their dedication, even after retirement. "During their military service, they have been incredibly useful, even beyond the call of duty. Therefore, I am honored today to bestow this award," said Prabowo.
The Samkaryanugraha is an honor given to TNI units for their contribution to military operations and national defense, but it is received by the unit commander.
Recipients of the Honors
The Bintang Yudha Dharma Pratama recipients included Major General Bangun Nawoko, Major General Putranto Gatot Sri Handoyo, Rear Admiral Fauzi, Major General Mar Ili Dasili, Air Marshal Benny Arfan, and Air Vice Marshal Frederick Situmorang.
The Samkaryanugraha honor was presented by the President of Indonesia to several distinct units: the 71st Kopassus Unit, received by Colonel Inf Ginda Muhammad Ginanjar; the Yonif 330/Tri Dharma Unit, received by Lieutenant Colonel Inf Ribut Yodo Apriantono; the Kodim 1504 Ambon Unit, received by Lieutenant Colonel Inf Hari Sandra; and the Yonif 328/Dirgahayu Unit, received by Lieutenant Colonel Inf Ade Kurniawan Dwi Saputro.
Additionally, naval and air units received the honor: the KRI Karel Satsuit Tubun (KST-356), received by Navy Lieutenant Colonel (P) Irwin Kurniady; the KRI Radjiman Wedyodiningrat (RJW-992), received by Navy Colonel (P) Ridwansyah; Lanal Tanjung Balai Karimun, received by Navy Lieutenant Colonel (P) Samuel Chrestian Noya; the Detachment Jalamangkara, received by Marine Colonel Rino Riyanto; Maintenance Depot 70, received by Technical Colonel Eri Wardhana; Skadik 102 Lanud Adisucipto, received by Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Ari Nugroho Widodo; Lanud Raden Sadjad (RSA) Ranai, received by Air Force Colonel Onesmus Gede Rai Aryadi; and finally, Air Squadron 6 Lanud Atang Sendjaja (ATS), received by Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Rizky Wijayanto.
Part of TNI Anniversary Commemoration
The Presidential Inspection and awards ceremony were part of the Sailing Pass event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces on October 5.
This was the second time the Sailing Pass was held, featuring a parade of dozens of Indonesian Navy warships in Teluk Jakarta. The formation included the KRI Brawijaya-320 (serving as Headquarters Ship) and 51 Navy elements, such as Frigates, Corvettes, and two Submarines, along with training ships KRI Dewaruci and KRI Bima Suci. Elements from other agencies, including Bakamla, Basarnas, Polairud, and fishermen's associations, also participated.
