TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto's Personal Secretary, Rizky Irmansyah, paid a visit to former President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's residence in Sumber, Banjarsari District, Solo, Central Java, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. However, Rizky remained tight-lipped regarding his visit to Jokowi's house today. He simply stated that he was merely paying a visit.
Tempo’s observations at the location revealed a bustling atmosphere at Jokowi’s residence since early morning. Dozens of people arriving from various regions gathered to meet and take photos with Jokowi, lining up in an orderly queue in the front yard of the house.
In front of Jokowi’s house, numerous celebratory flower arrangements for Jokowi’s 65th birthday on June 21, 2026, were still on display. The area was also adorned with an abundance of orchids, various plant seedlings, and other decorative flowers sent by several of Jokowi's colleagues. Despite the large crowds, the queue moved smoothly under the strict guidance of the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres) personnel stationed at the location.
Amid the bustling stream of public visitors, Rizky and his partner arrived at Jokowi's house at around 10:00 a.m. and immediately headed indoors for a closed-door meeting. The encounter lasted for approximately 23 minutes. Upon his arrival, Rizky was spotted carrying a gift that was later handed over to Jokowi. "Just a visit," Rizky replied to reporters' questions regarding the purpose of his meeting with Jokowi.
Rizky only offered a smile when pressed about the specific discussions held with Jokowi inside the house. He reiterated that his presence was merely a visit. "Just a visit, for the sake of paying a visit," he said.
Rizky also dodged questions when asked whether he was delivering a special message from Prabowo. He chose instead to head directly to his waiting vehicle.
Meanwhile, Jokowi's aide, Chief Commissioner Syarif Muhammad Fitriansyah, explained that Rizky’s journey to Solo was related to his upcoming wedding plans. According to him, Rizky specifically took the time to meet Jokowi in person to hand-deliver his wedding invitation. "He took the time to stop by Solo to pay a visit and hand over his wedding invitation to Bapak Jokowi," Syarif clarified.
