TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The lawyer for the former Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Sony Sonjaya, urged the Attorney General's Office to follow up on the 41 names implicated by his client in the alleged corruption case involving the buying and selling of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Points (SPPG). Krisna Murti stated that, so far, none of these individuals have been questioned by the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes.

Krisna explained that Sony had disclosed these names since the very beginning of the investigation. Investigators obtained not only confessions but also evidence in the form of conversation logs with several individuals retrieved from Sony's mobile phone. He claimed to have no knowledge regarding the additional names mentioned by the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah, during a recent press conference. "There are no additional names from Sony; those 41 individuals have still not been interrogated to this day," Krisna told Tempo.

During a press conference on Friday, July 10, 2026, Febrie Adriansyah stated that the institution would continue to investigate the suspected illicit trading of SPPG points. According to Febrie, investigators are currently delving into the involvement of the 41 names mentioned by Sony. Furthermore, he noted that the figure had since expanded to 47 names.

Febrie's remarks came amid a whirlwind of police investigations into a series of corruption cases allegedly involving the high-ranking prosecutor himself. The National Police's Corruption Eradication Task Force and the Jakarta Metro Police raided 12 locations last Wednesday, uncovering evidence that included hundreds of billions of rupiah in cash and dozens of kilograms of gold bars. This evidence was discovered at Febrie's residence in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, as well as at Cafe de'Clan in Cipete, South Jakarta.

In the early hours of Saturday, July 11, 2026, the Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, announced that Febrie Adriansyah had officially resigned. The Attorney General subsequently appointed Rudi Margono as the acting Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes.

Later that afternoon, at exactly 3:30 p.m., the Head of the National Police's Corruption Eradication Task Force, Inspector General Totok Suharyanto, announced that Febrie Adriansyah had been formally designated a suspect in a corruption and money laundering case. This announcement was made during a joint press conference with Rudi Margono and a representative from the Law Commission of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the Attorney General's Office building.
