TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President of the United States (US) Donald Trump admitted on Saturday, June 27, 2026, that the US military had launched attacks on several targets in Iran .
"United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites," Trump said via the Truth Social platform as quoted by Antara.
Trump referred to the attacks as a response to Iran's actions, which he claimed violating the ceasefire agreement.
"The attacks were because Iran was violating the Cease Fire Agreement, AGAIN! It is very possible that they will never learn!" he wrote.
Trump also warned that Washington could take broader military steps if the situation continues to deteriorate.
"There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist" Trump said.
Previously, Iranian media reported attacks on Qeshm Island and near the city of Sirik, as well as around the port city of Bandar-e Lengeh in the southern part of the country.
Meanwhile, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that it had attacked several targets in Iran in response to Iran's alleged attack on a commercial ship passing through the Hormuz Strait.
