TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Singapore’s National Day Parade is set to make a long-awaited return to the National Stadium for the first time since 2016. When do tickets for the National Day Parade go on sale?
Applications for tickets to the National Day Parade 2026, along with its preview shows on July 25 and August 1, are now officially open. Interested attendees can submit their applications from now until June 6 at 12 PM.
How to apply for the National Day Parade tickets?
As per TimeOut, the NDP 2026 ticket ballot allows eligible Singaporeans and permanent residents to apply for two, four, or six tickets ahead of this year’s celebrations. To participate, applications must be submitted through the official NDP website using Singpass.
Those without a Singpass account are encouraged to register for one, seek assistance from a trusted individual, or visit a ServiceSG center with their NRIC.
Successful applications will be determined through a ballot system rather than a first-come, first-served process, and every attendee, including infants, must hold an individual ticket.
Applicants will receive their ballot results between June 15 and 17 through SMS notifications sent via gov.sg, as well as email updates from [email protected].
What to expect at the 2026 National Parade Day?
This year’s National Day Parade marks a major return to the National Stadium for the first time since 2016 under the theme “Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!”. The larger venue will accommodate around 42,000 spectators, nearly doubling the recent capacity at the Padang.
While several traditional crowd favorites such as the mobile column, Red Lions, and aerial fly-pasts will not take place due to operational and safety considerations, organizers are set to introduce indoor drone performances, aerial acts, and expanded special effects instead.
Despite the changes, signature highlights, including the state flag fly-past and fireworks display, will remain, while the presidential gun salute is set to be held at Kallang Basin for the first time.
