TEMPO.CO, JakartaBali Regional Police have named a foreign citizen from Australia with the initials 'MR' (28 years old) as a suspect in a beating case at Finns Beach Club, Jalan Pantai Berawa, North Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. Currently, the foreign national is being held at the Bali Police Detention Center.

"Based on the results of the investigation, statements from witnesses and evidence, investigators at the Bali Police Criminal Investigation Directorate have named one suspect, namely MR (28), an Australian citizen," said Head of Public Relations for the Bali Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Ariasandy in Denpasar, Saturday, February 15, 2025, as reported by Antara.

He said that the riot that occurred at Finns Beach Club on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, was handled differently by the police after the security and the foreign national involved in the fight reported each other. Both sides felt they were victims so they made police reports in different places.

The report against the Australian national was made by a person with the initials 'INM' (53), Head of Security at Finns Beach Club at the Bali Police Criminal Investigation Directorate. Meanwhile, the report of Australian citizen MR against the security of Finns Beach Club is being handled by the Badung Police.
