TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that Jakarta will be shrouded in clouds on Monday morning.
According to data from the BMKG's official Instagram page @infobmkg in Jakarta, Monday, cloudy conditions will occur at 7:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta.
East Jakarta is predicted to be shrouded in thick clouds, while the Thousand Islands are expected to be partly cloudy.
Meanwhile, at 1:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) on Sunday afternoon, several areas will still be shrouded in clouds, including Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta, with clear, partly cloudy skies. The Thousand Islands Regency is expected to remain shrouded in thick clouds. Meanwhile, light rain will occur in Central Jakarta and South Jakarta on Monday afternoon.
Rain will continue to fall in Jakarta until 4:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are predicted to be partly cloudy.
On Monday night, light rain will occur throughout Jakarta, except for the Thousand Islands, which are predicted to be cloudy.
Air temperatures in Jakarta are estimated to range between 24 and 31 degrees Celsius. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) also stated that wind speeds will range between 1 kilometer (km) per hour and 15 km per hour in local areas.
