Los Angeles Rams linebacker Nate Landman got a little too excited in his pre-game hype speech and injured himself in the process.
Landman was shown in the center of a circle of his teammates prior to their Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Giants.
The linebacker out of Colorado was seen excitedly yelling at his teammates to prepare them for the moment.
However, his energy went just a bit too far as he head-butted one player who had their helmet on.
Landman, who was not wearing a helmet, drew blood on his forehead after the hit.
The player jogged over to the sidelines as the Monday Night Countdown crew reacted to his actions.

Analyst Jason Kelce mentioned that the energy was high, 'Especially when Landman decided to headbutt a steel cage.'
Rams fans loved the enthusiasm from Landman and shared their excitement for the game.
'He got me ready to run through my TV. Leeeeeets go,' wrote one Rams fan.
