TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Erling Haaland has added another chapter to his remarkable goal-scoring career, with Guinness World Records recognizing four of his achievements in football. The Manchester City striker was presented with four Guinness World Records certificates at the Etihad Stadium ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season.
According to Guinness World Records, Haaland’s latest record came on December 2, 2025, when he scored against Fulham to become the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the English Premier League. He achieved the milestone in just 111 matches after making his Manchester City debut at the start of the 2022/23 season.
His record-breaking run began in his debut Premier League season, when Haaland scored 36 goals in 38 games. That total set the record for the most goals by a player in a single English Premier League season, surpassing Mohamed Salah’s previous mark of 32 and the 34-goal record jointly held by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer.
Haaland has also made his mark on the international stage with Norway. He holds the Guinness World Records title for the most UEFA Nations League goals by a football player, having scored 19 times between September 2020 and November 2024. He is also recognized for the most goals scored in a UEFA Champions League match, after scoring five times against RB Leipzig in March 2023, matching a record shared by Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano.
At 26, Haaland’s collection of Guinness World Records reflects a career built around an extraordinary appetite for goals. With the 2026/27 Premier League season approaching, Guinness World Records noted that his continued scoring form could mean more certificates for the Manchester City forward in the future.
