Premier League footballers are knocking hundreds of thousands of pounds off the asking prices of their homes in a bid to sell them.
The stars in Cheshire's so-called 'Golden Triangle' and its surrounding areas are having to slash the cost of their mansions to secure sales.
Many are former footballers for the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City - but even current big names are being dragged into the struggle.
Manchester City and England man Phil Foden chopped £825,00 off the asking price for his home in Prestbury - plunging it from £3.25m to £2.4m.
A sale at that price meant that the 26-year-old, who lives with his childhood sweetheart Rebecca Cooke and their three children, lost £450,000 on the price he paid for the pad.
Now a spate of other former and current Premier League names find themselves in a similar predicament.

Paul Pogba has lopped off a massive £450,000 from the asking price of his mansion in Hale Barns, with a new valuation of £3.45m.
Former Manchester City star Ederson, who now plays for Turkish club Fenerbahce, has just reduced the price of his house in Wilmslow by £200,000 to £3.8m.
Meanwhile, ex-Wales captain Ashley Williams has had to cut £100,000 off the price of his home in Altrincham, which has a new ask of £3,650,000.
And Everton centre-back Michael Keane has cut £200,000 from his home in Knutsford in a bid to secure a sale.
In nearby Formby, former Liverpool star Naby Keita has slashed £200,000 off the price of his five bedroom home with a new valuation at £2.8m.
This issue has been ongoing for some time, and several names were caught in the snare of having to sell up on the relative cheap.
They include former City captain and now Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany, ex-Everton skipper Tim Cahill, and former England international Joleon Lescott.
Kompany knocked off £300,000 with a new price of £3.65m for his home in Hale Barns.
Meanwhile, former City star Lescott - who is now a DJ - was forced to chop £250,000 off his home in Alderley Edge after originally putting it on the market for £4.5m.
Cahill's house, complete with a luxury interior, eventually sold for £5m - but he wanted £6.5m

And Cahill lopped off a massive £1.5m from his mansion in Hale after originally trying to sell it for £6.5m.
Cheshire's 'Golden Triangle' of Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and Prestbury and its surrounding areas have been a hotbed of housing activity in the top end of the market fuelled by Premier League footballers in the area for years.
Footballers began moving into the area in the 1990s, with David and Victoria Beckham being one of the first celebrity couples to be hunted by paparazzi on its leafy lanes.
However, it is not just the rich and famous that have called the Golden Triangle home - criminals have increasingly been attracted to its private roads and gated homes, which may be partly to blame for the falling prices.
Back in December 2023 criminals targeted the Cheshire home of Jack Grealish when they stole jewellery and watches worth £1million as the star played for Manchester City at Everton.
In January, intruders broke into the house of Manchester City's Ruben Dias, where he lived with Love Island host Maya Jama, while both of them were away working.
Burglars made off with thousands of pounds worth of items including designer clothes, jewellery and electronics, according to reports.
Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, and many others have also suffered a similar fate.
