A Premier League linesman has reportedly been suspended after being accused of inappropriate behaviour with a woman.
Simon Bennett, a married official earning £110,000 per year, has not refereed this season.
An investigation was launched after concerns were raised over his conduct.
A source told the Sun: 'He has closed all his social media accounts and pretty much disappeared since he was suspended.
'The investigation is into his inappropriate behaviour with a woman.
'It has obviously raised eyebrows in the refereeing world because it goes against the grain of the job itself.

'Refs are supposed to ensure high standards on the pitch, so you'd hope they would do the same off the pitch.
'But we have to await the findings of the investigation now.'
Pro Ref (formerly PGMOL), the body which oversees elite refereeing in England, declines to comment when contacted by Daily Mail Sport.
Daily Mail Sport has also contacted the Football Association.
Bennett, 41, last ran the line when Manchester United won 3-0 away at Brighton on the final day of last season.
He has worked in the Premier League since 2011 and was previously a teacher.
A FIFA official since 2013, he has previously worked at the European Championships in 2021 and worked at the FA Cup final.
