TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) is involving the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) to support the restructuring process of state-owned construction companies, namely PT PP (Persero) Tbk and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk.
"We have learned from experience. This restructuring must be a turning point in building stronger, healthier state-owned construction companies with better governance, enabling them to grow sustainably and support national development," said BP BUMN Head Dony Oskaria in Jakarta on Thursday, July 2, 2026, as reported by Antara.
The reinforcement of state-owned construction firms remains ongoing to ensure these companies achieve sounder financial fundamentals, improved governance, and the capacity to support sustainable national infrastructure development.
Restructuring is a strategic intervention to fortify a company's financial health, instill sharper business discipline, and guarantee that all financing support is channeled in a measured manner to productive, commercially viable projects.
To this end, Dony chaired a high-level meeting with the boards of directors of Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI, PT PP (Persero) Tbk, and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk.
The meeting evaluated the ongoing restructuring progress of PT PP (Persero) Tbk and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, focusing on the financing support schemes provided by Himbara to underpin the transformation process of both infrastructure firms.
Discussions focused closely on designing a sound, sustainable financing framework. This financial backing is targeted strictly toward projects that are productive, commercially viable, and backed by measurable cash flows, thereby elevating corporate performance while safeguarding long-term business sustainability.
In addition to financial dimensions, the restructuring framework is also geared toward reinforcing corporate governance, sharpening risk management discipline, and building a far healthier overall business model.
