TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Hashim Djojohadikusumo called Fadel Muhammad immediately after returning from Singapore on Thursday, June 25, 2026. The younger brother of President Prabowo Subianto asked about reports linking his name to Folago Global Nusantara, one of the companies streaming the 2026 FIFA World Cup through its FolaPlay platform.
“Pak Hashim asked why people were saying he was involved in Folago,” Fadel said when Tempo met him at his home in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta that same day.
Through Matra Tri Abadi, Fadel is one of the shareholders of Folago Global Nusantara. Folago joined the World Cup broadcasts through a partnership with Citra Surya Indonesia, an advertising agency that became Televisi Republik Indonesia’s (TVRI) partner for various aspects of the World Cup broadcasts under an agreement signed in mid-May.
That is where Hashim’s name surfaced. Folago had partnered with Solusi Sinergi Digital (Surge), a home Internet provider operating under the Internet Rakyat brand, in its partnership with Citra Surya. Both Hashim and Fadel are shareholders of Surge.
