TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The music event promoter Ravel Entertainment announced a solo concert by the American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold, which will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The band, which last visited Indonesia on May 25, 2024, will perform at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
The CEO of Ravel Entertainment, Ravel Junardy, mentioned that M. Shadows and his friends have wanted to return to Indonesia since last year, but it was only recently that the promoter's and the band's schedules aligned. "They are very enthusiastic and have something new because they miss their fans in Indonesia," he said during a press conference in South Jakarta on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Therefore, the band, which was formed in 1999, first confirmed the concert date in Indonesia before moving on to other countries. "Until now, I don't know what's special, but Avenged Sevenfold promised to deliver something special for their fans in Indonesia," Ravel said.
Choosing JIS as the Venue
Ravel Entertainment, which often holds concerts in Ancol, is now trying something new at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Ravel stated that the stadium with a capacity of 82,000 people is very suitable to be a venue for rock music concerts.
"The first time I knew it was suitable was when we played soccer with the band Muse and it turned out that the venue was very good. The last time in 2024, Avenged Sevenfold performed at Stadium Madya, and it was not quite suitable, which is why we will hold it at the Jakarta International Stadium," he explained.
The Business and Operational Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo, also known as Jakpro, I Gede Adi Adnyana, stated that JIS was previously used for concerts by Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran. "Pop musicians have performed, and now it's time to try a rock band," he said.
Regarding the venue's preparation, Adi mentioned that it is ready to be used because this concert aligns with the vision and mission of the Jakarta City Government in becoming a global city. "Jakarta International Stadium is continuously improving and is actually on par with other international stadiums," he said.
Avenged Sevenfold Concert Tickets
The ticket sales will be held in two sessions, namely the Deathbat Presale session on April 6, 2026, at 13:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time) and the General Sale session on April 8, 2026, at 13:00 WIB.
The ticket prices for the Avenged Sevenfold concert range from Rp655,000 to Rp2.55 million. There are Festival categories located close to the stage, as well as CAT 1 to CAT 3 categories in the tribune area.
