TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Japanese pop duo Yoasobi will return to Singapore for their biggest concert in the city yet, headlining the 55,000-capacity National Stadium on February 20, 2027.
The concert will mark a milestone for the duo and Singapore's live music scene, as Yoasobi will become the first Japanese music act to headline a solo concert at the National Stadium.
The show is part of Yoasobi's 10-city Dome & Stadium Tour 2026-2027 Super Planet, which spans five cities in Japan and five across Asia. Singapore is the tour's only Southeast Asian stop, with other Asian destinations including Taipei, Seoul and Hong Kong.

From Sold-Out Shows to National Stadium
Yoasobi, comprising producer-songwriter Ayase and vocalist Ikura, have steadily expanded their Singapore following since their debut performance in 2024.
Their first Singapore concert at Resorts World Ballroom sold out on the day tickets went on sale. The duo returned in 2025 for two sold-out shows at Singapore Indoor Stadium, drawing nearly 20,000 fans in total.
The upcoming National Stadium concert fulfills a promise Ayase made during a 2025 interview with The Straits Times.
“There’s a much bigger venue next door, we want to fill it up,” he said at the time, expressing hope that Yoasobi could perform there on their next Singapore visit.
Why Yoasobi Has Become a Global J-Pop Force
Formed in 2019, Yoasobi have built an international following with songs including “Yoru ni Kakeru” and “Idol.”
The duo's distinctive concept is central to their appeal. Ayase adapts novels and short stories into songs, creating narrative-driven tracks that combine pop hooks with cinematic storytelling.
“Yoru ni Kakeru” has surpassed 1.3 billion streams, while “Idol,” released in 2023, became a major international hit.
Yoasobi were also Spotify's most-streamed Japanese act outside Japan for four consecutive years from 2021 to 2024.
