TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) offers discounts up to 20 percent for group bookings of at least 20 people boarding the Whoosh High-Speed Train. The discount is available for the premium economy class.
KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, said the promo aims to provide convenience as well as more benefits for group passengers. “This special discount facilitates ticket booking without queuing, collective seating arrangements, officer assistance, and low fares for group travel,” she said in an official statement on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
To enjoy the promo, prospective passengers can contact the Whoosh Group Reservation service on WhatsApp at 0813-4000-2920 on weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
The booking process includes filling in travel details such as date, route, departure time, and number of passengers. After seat availability is confirmed, prospective passengers can submit passenger data and complete payment via bank transfer or directly at the Halim Station counter.
According to Eva, throughout 2024, Whoosh has served more than 2,700 groups with a total of 220,000 passengers. These groups include companies, schools, government agencies, and the general public.
One of the largest bookings KCIC received came from a financial company, with a total of 3,000 passengers in one booking for a company gathering.
“On average, around 50 groups contact the WhatsApp service every day to get information or book group tickets,” Eva said.
“We want to provide an easy, comfortable, and enjoyable travel experience, especially for group passengers. We hope more people will enjoy the promo to experience the benefits of the Whoosh High-Speed Train,” she said.
